DeJa Voodoo Late Night After Hours—The Magnetic VIP Ticket Giveaway

Are you already thinking about your Halloween weekend plans? If not, it’s time to start pondering just what the hell you’re going to do. Here’s one option, in case you’re still scratching your head. We’ve got two pairs of VIP tickets to this year’s Voodoo After-Dark Parties in New Orleans up for grabs. What are these Voodoo After-Dark parties I speak of? Throughout Voodoo’s Halloween weekend celebration (Friday, October 28, Saturday, October 29 and Sunday, October 30), as the Voodoo Experience wraps each night, the festival will put on a three-night series of official after-hour parties (dubbed DeJa Voodoo by Verboten) from midnight to 6 am. The Voodoo Festival is making this happening based on the response from last year to its dedicated dance space, Le Plur—an aspect of the festival that had been dormant since 2004. Some of world’s top talent will perform at the fan favorite Le Plur area inside the festival including Cassy, Claude VonStroke (DirtyBird Records), Craig Richards, Danny Howells, Deniz Kurtel, Lee Burridge, Maya Jane Coles, Soul Clap, Tanner Ross, Voices of Black and Wolf+Lamb…and you can expect most of these acts at the DeJa Voodoo after-hour parties too.

All you have to do for a chance to score a three-night VIP ticket package (valued at $99) is:

1: friend us on Facebook

2: friend Voodoo Experience on Facebook

3: share this post with your Facebook friends and tag @MagneticMagazine with "please get me into DeJa Voodoo Afterhours" and tag @VoodooExperience, as well. (In oder to "@ tag" someone you need to be fan of their page.)

4: And if you leave a comment (comments are below "about Magnetic") telling us why you want said VIP package I bet the editor will like that. Just saying.

Winners will be announced on Friday October 7th. Good luck!

And since I threw out Soul Clap above (they'll be DJing this), I might as well double down on this post. Here's a live Soul Clap set from Movement that the band posted on their Soundcloud wall about a month ago. It's pretty damn nice...
