Oh na na, Rihanna has delivered, thanks to hit maker Calvin Harris, a new killer track from her upcoming album, which, as of now, has no release date or title. The new album is a follow-up to her successful 2010 album Loud. The single “We Found Love” was released today via Island Def Jam. Although Rihanna has recorded a few electronic inspired hits in the past from “Only Girl In the World” and “Whose that Chick,” with David Guetta, this track definitely falls under the realm of electronic. Not only is Rihanna a mainstream pop tart but she clearly doesn’t have an issue with pushing the boundaries in music. We bet this track will be playing on airwaves throughout the world including the States. The invasion of electronic music in the mainstream world has just erupted especially with Afrojacks’ “Take Over Control,” and now with “We Found Love” it’s only a matter of time before electronic music will be the leading genre in this country. The track is tasteful and innocent. Besides talking about “finding love in a hopeless place,” the tune will have bodies moving on the dancefloor and teenage girls raging in their bedrooms. Congratulations Rihanna you’ve finally discovered divine music. We came across this tune via Fresh New Tracks.
