Based in Glasgow, Scotland, the seven-piece instrumental ensemble Remember Remember has announced the details for their second album, The Quickening, which will see a US release on October 11th through Mogwai’s Rock Action Records. If you’re a fan of the sounds produced by acts like Mice Parade, Animal Collective and Bjork, as well as artists like Philip Glass, Brian Eno and Yann Tiersen give Remember Remember a listen. The music is epic and very ambitious—we’re into it.

You can listen to “John Candy” from the Quickening album via the band’s Soundcloud page.

Here’s “Lips” from the Quickening album

Here’s a new animated video from Scottish-based animator Becky Manson for one of the album’s tracks, “Scottish Widows.”
