Surface to Air x Kid Cudi

Last night Surface to Air finally opened a store in the US—meaning it's now a helluva lot easier to score their gear. It's right in the heart of New York City's South-Soho neighborhood (27 Mercer Street NY 10013 to be exact) and will carry the full Men, Women and Kids' collections. Yes, you can dress the tikes in Surface To Air. It's a little funny, I know, but pretty dope at the same time. The 2300 sqft store was designed in collaboration with architect Federico Masotto who took NYC's stylish and edgy attitude to heart (marble, concrete, wood and slate is the vibe) while maintaining and reflecting the Surface To Air aesthetic.

No stranger to musical collaborations, Surface to Air just announced their latest men's collaboration with rapper / actor Kid Cudi. The partnership includes four iconic leather jackets—one "Champ" and one "Fire" for the guys and the same for the ladies. We love the style. The "Fire" version is a slim fitting, modern biker jacket. Features include a signature red patch detailing underneath the sleeves, stitched shoulder detailing, a vertical zip pocket on the left breast and two diagonal front popper pockets. Ribbing at hem, cuffs and collar as well as all zipper detailing and zip sleeve detailing. It's fully lined and available in Black. The "Champs" takes a "Thriller" inspired approach. Features include red leather quilted patched shoulders, snap closure pockets accompanied by two gunmetal vertical zipper pockets and two diagonal front snap pockets. Snap closure collar detail, zip sleeve detailing, ribbed collar, wrist and waistband. It's fully lined and available in Black/Red.

Also, peep the Mr. Rager mini film below the product shots. It was directed by Surface To Air El Jefe Jeremie Rozan and features Scott Mescudi (aka Kid Cudi) fighting against a gang of fifty men all wearing the S2A x Kid Cudi Jackets.

Another dream come true, and to do it with a brand Ive admired for some time, I mean it doesnt get any cooler than that. -Kid Cudi
