It’s October if you haven’t noticed for the last eleven days. At the end of this month is a little known holiday formally known as All Hallows Eve, presently known as Halloween, and in case you haven’t heard there is a little celebration of the Hallows at the Hard Haunted Mansion. There are no doorbells to ring here, there are no strangers to talk to, there certainly may be some candy, but without doubt this is a place to dance the evil spirits away.
On October 28th and 29th The Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles will be transformed into the party for Halloweens to come. Friday October 28th will bring the headliner talents of Fatboy Slim, Rusko, and Laidback Luke. Saturday will bring the boys of Soulwax, the home-town-hero Skrillex, and my fellow Philadelphian Diplo’s collaboration with UKs Switch to form the crazy, Major Lazer. What would Halloween be without Skream+Benga and Fake Blood too? They will also be laying it down hard. Many more artists will be bringing their skills to provide an experience that certainly shouldn’t be missed. If I haven’t convinced you already, here’s a video to peep. And if it does to you what it did to us, get your tickets here.
There will be no crying allowed. And beware of Reese’s Cups, my Mom has told me strangers put razor blades in there to torture the innards of young kids. That’s gross, but this party won’t be. Get there.
