Steve Aoki Gets Together With Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo

We’re living in a pretty awesome world when kick-ass collaborations between unlikely artists catch us off guard. That’s what has happened with Rivers Cuomo (frontman for Weezer) and Steve Aoki. “Earthquakey People (The Sequel)” draws listeners in with its unpredictable house electro. It’s already getting a lot of attention and it hasn’t even been released yet (but will be in two weeks). Sounds like Cuomo is taking his own advice from the song; “Don’t be afraid to dance. Don’t be afraid to take a chance.” After listening to this track, it’s obvious that he’s not afraid to dance…or take a chance.

Check out this video of Aoki unveiling the song last month at Identity Fest in Mountain View, California.
