Think of 128 Beats Per Minute as a visual guide to music, culture, and everything in between. From private beaches in Barcelona to a music studio in Jamaica, Diplo and photographer Shane McCauley put together a photographic journey of Diplo’s life. Shane McCauley is the former assistant to Annie Leibovitz, which is to say you should expect stunning photography that captures the excitement and vibrant mood as the two travel from country to country and party to party. Pretty dope that fashion designer Alexander Wang wrote the forward.

Chapters are divided by country, from Israel to Trinidad, and Russia to Asia—complete with a playlist as well as Diplo's impressions of the culture and people.

Every city has its own cultural movement, history, fashion, and art-all of which is constantly evolving into something different. -Diplo

The book is set to drop April 2012 via Universe Publishing, an imprint of Rizzoli New York.
