An All-Swedish Collaboration: Absolut Vodka x Swedish House Mafia = “Greyhound”

If you’re a vodka drinker (oh boy am I) you’re probably already aware that Absolut is no stranger to the art of collaboration. They’ve been getting down with various folks in the music, art and fashion communities for like 30-years now. Spike Jonze, Cee-Lo Green and Jay-Z, as well as previous works by Andy Warhol and Keith Haring have all been commissioned. And now we have Swedish House Mafia (you know: Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello) teaming up the spirit company to write a piece of music for Absolut’s forthcoming US advertising campaign which will roll out across Europe this Summer.

The track, entitled “Greyhound,” became available as a free download on iTunes as of yesterday, March 12, 2012. The tune does have anthem written all over it and the video they put together for the song is pretty damn awesome. It’s like Mad Max meets Tron meets something else that’s pretty rad.
