Calvin Harris’ “Flashback” Gets Remixed Live By Dario Darnell

Dario Darnell, from Picturebook, completely transforms Calvin Harris’ “Flashback” into a beautiful melodically filled masterpiece. A video captures the musical talent of Darnell as he plays every instrument featured within the remix. He plays all the instruments simultaneously; the percussion, the piano, the vocals, they’re all his doing and it’s simply incredible. The video speaks for itself.

Darnell is one half of Picturebook, playing along side his brother Lorne Ashley. The brothers were born in New York but raised in Manchester, UK. Their father August Darnell was the lead singer and band-leader for Kid Creole & The Coconuts, connecting their natural ties with music. In January, Picturebook released their debut EP "At Last," which features the current single “Sunshine,” (see video below) featuring vocals from Greta Svabo Bech, who did the vocals on Deadmau5’s “Raise Your Weapon.” The four-track EP displays the brothers’ dynamic talents as songwriters, producers and musicians.
