LA Talent Urulu Drops “Across The Sky” via Exploited Records

Once again Exploited Records sends us another flawless release; this time fromnew signing, Urulu. This guy is an LA-based producer who has been turning heads lately with his new “Across The Sky” EP that hit the charts on Beatport two weeks ago. Already winning over plays from the likes of Seth Troxler, Round Table Knights, Feadz, Joe Goddard, Matthew Dear and more, Urulu’s young career in deep house is looking mighty solid.

“Across The Sky” consists of three tracks, all of which are dancefloor bombs. Besides the title track, the EP contains “We Belong” and “Don’t Dare,” which are both accurate reflections of this whole sultry west coast late-night vibe that’s been growing steadily over the last little while. Urulu’s sound is very “now,” which I think is obvious by the long list of top DJs that are supporting all three tracks on the EP. It’s deep, it’s moving, but it’s also old school knowledge with a futuristic touch. At the end of the day, I can’t really tell you which track is my personal favorite, but I’m quite sure I’ll be rotating throughout all three. Exploited is clearly on a roll, so be sure to remain on the look out for future releases. We’re happy to see LA talent roll with the big guys, especially when it’s well deserved.

Across The Sky is out now on Beatport and will be available on the 26th everywhere else.
