Cyclist & Pat Lok in the U.S.-EH

Oh yes, finally some of the finest talent the northern end of the map has to offer are making their LA debut. Vancouver's Pat Lok and Mark Penner (better known as Cyclist) are studio monsters and their selection on the decks goes deep. When I was living up in Vancouver for a bit, it was obvious that these dudes were holding it down up there for the disco, house, and overall dance music that doesn't suck. After I left, they began a party series called "Daft Funk," which continues to draw a dedicated crowd and turn heads to new music that may not be strongly promoted up there. But now LA can finally get a taste of their Daft Funk flavor, as the pair arranged a set of dates in California and beyond, spanning over a week or so.

Pat and Cyclist were kind enough to send us some special exclusive tracks and a mixtape too! Here's what they had to say:

"To celebrate our first mini-USA-tour we did a mini-mix slightly different from our typical 'Daft Funk' disco sets. It has some new tunes and some older tracks that still deserve some shine. Also because your readers are so good looking we wanted to hook you up something extra exclusive: a free unreleased remix of Cyclist's Prime Cut done by Winnipeg's JNL and a remix stem package for Pat Lok - Yes Game (off his winter 2011 debut EP, No Shame [On The Fruit Records]). Grab a cold drink and a hot girl, we'll see you on the dancefloor."
