RAC Drops “Hollywood”—It’s Only Taken Six Years

Six years in and RAC (Andre Allen Anjos) releases his debut single, “Hollywood.” Which seems a little weird considering guy has been at it a minute and has done about a million remixes (ok, more like 200), but this is in fact the first full RAC production. BTW, it’s pronounced Ar-Ay-Cee. The new tune features Chris Glover of Penguin Prison on vocals and was released today as a free download via Green Label Sound. Thanks Mountain Dew! Yes, I thank a beverage company, because apparently they were the ones that finally convinced Anjos to do something, “The thing that really sold me was the reputation, you know, with the other songs they’ve already done. People that I really like have released music on this label, so I’m very proud to be part of that.” Anjos is in good company, Green Label Sound has worked with Chromeo, Star Slinger, Wavves, Neon Indian, Matt & Kim, Theophilus London, Holy Ghost!, Flosstradamus, The Cool Kids and MNDR to name a few.

Here’s the tune, enjoy
