Video Alert: Santigold’s “The Keepers” Released Today

As it stands right now, Santigold’s album Master Of My Make-Believe is one of my favorites this year. She also put on one of the best live shows I’ve seen this year. So it's winner winner as is her new video for “The Keepers.” Just in time for the 4th of July, the video sees Santigold playing a member of an idyllic 1950s American family sitting down to dinner and smiling as the world falls apart around them and the present reality of the United States comes rushing in. Props to LA based director Nabil for a great video. Can you spot the cameos? GZA is one. Can you spot the other two?

BTW, if you didn’t get the chance to see Santigold on her spring tour, she’ll be appearing at festivals internationally throughout the summer including Lollapalooza, Reading and Leeds.

Other two cameos are Kick Kennedy and Trevor Andrew.
