Young Adults 001—LA Talent To Be Heard

“As part of a growingly endangered breed of vinyl obsessed musicologists, LA’s Young Adults opt to let the records play in this digital age of instant gratification.” Enough said. Young Adults is a new label founded by Friends of Friends (another great imprint) affiliates Leeor Brown and David Fisher. Their first Young Adults release is entitled “YA001” is currently on sale. You should be excited about this one because it features local favorites of mine: Urulu, Suzanne Kraft, LOL Boys and Grown Folk, and a track from the mysterious Dead Rose Music Company from the UK. Every track on this one is quality and a little bit different from what you’d typically expect from the included artists. I pre-ordered upon first listen, so definitely take my word for it.

Order the record here via Friends of Friends. You can learn all about the launch of Young Adults and the people behind it here on Resident Advisor. And while you’re at it, follow em on Tumblr, Twitter and Soundcloud.
