EDM Culture Merrymaking At Governors Beach Club This Saturday With John Digweed & Danny Tenaglia

Made Event isn’t letting us off the EDM hook just yet NYC…  Get ready for another weekend of hard partying as two true dance music innovators, John Digweed and Danny Tenaglia, take over the decks at Governors Beach Club. The seductive, deep, groove heavy, underground techno music of Pleasurekraft and New York underground powerhouse duo Sleepy & Boo will join Digweed and Tenaglia on Governors Island this Saturday, August 11.

With a long-established career as one of the worlds most popular DJs, John Digweed’s sets cater to the needs of clubbers around the globe. Digweed’s forte ranges from deeper house to techno and everything in between, and the new generation of ravers are learning that there’s nothing quite like being zoned into a John Digweed set. Digweed’s list of groundbreaking achievements includes Top 40 smashes like “Heaven Scent,” being voted DJ Mag’s #1 DJ, a Hollywood film score, tours with David Bowie and Moby, and a legendary DJ residency at famed NYC nightclub Twilo.

On the other hand, we also have NY legend Danny Tenaglia who is making a special appearance performance after announcing his retirement from the game earlier this year. Tenaglia’s storied success came not behind a major label release, or a world tour, or a radio hit remix, but a dedication to the art of DJing honed over the last 30 years. His legacy began at seminal New York clubs, such as, Twilo, Tunnel and Vinyl. Danny’s career led him to become an internationally sensation, throwing hugely successful annual parties at Miami’s Winter Music Conference, and taking Ibiza by storm. Tenaglia also earned a Grammy nomination for his remix of Depeche Mode’s “I Feel Loved.”

These are two artists that you’re NOT going to want to miss! Check out Made Event’s website to turn this fantasy into a reality.

The 18+ event will take place from 4 pm to midnight at Governors Beach Club, which encompasses a 4-story tent with open walls, an open air beach, VIP areas, a state of the art sound and light system, over 100 feet of bar space, and scenic views of New York City.
