Newsweek: From Muslim Rage to Muslim Rave—"What Really Enrages Muslims? Twitter Knows"

Newsweek magazine had a cover a little while back with Muslim men rioting on it under the headline "How I survived it. How we can end it." Remember? Reading CNN this morning I came across this article, "What Really Enrages Muslims? Twitter Knows." It's basically sharply satirical, tongue-in-cheek responses from the Muslim community via Twitter in response to the Newsweek magazine cover showing a bunch of unhappy Muslim men in turbans and keffiyahs. I so appreciate their sense of humor here. One tweet showed the magazine cover doctored to make the rioting Muslim men look like glam rockers, replacing the headline with "Muslim Rave." Remi Kanzai riffed on the same theme: "Just add nighttime & glow sticks. It goes from #MuslimRage to #MuslimRave." You rock Remi Kanzai.

Hit up Twitter and type in #MuslimRage and get ready to laugh.
