Summer’s Over? Not For Ibiza. Not For Sankeys

Summer’s Over? Not For Ibiza

Last week, Sankeys Ibiza officially concluded the summer season by hosting two separate closing parties on consecutive nights. The summer was long and the partying was great, it was finally time to close the doors on the forbidden island and head back to real life, right? Hell, no. From our friends at Mixmag we got word that after merely nine days of silence, Sankey’s Ibiza has announced it will be re-opening on October 20 2012. That’s this Saturday, y’all. Let them EDM culture merry making begin—once again. And to add vodka to the cranberry cocktail, Sankey’s also announced that it will remain open throughout the duration of winter, hosting parties in Playa d’en Bossa every Saturday night. Clubbers who arrive before 3 am will enter the venue for free, and late arrivals will have to pay £10. Along with house music staple Pacha, Sankey’s will be the only other large clubbing venue in Ibiza to stay open off-season. The party ain’t over till Ibiza decides it is, and Ibiza still has the party in its system.
