100% of the profit for these two t shirts will go to Hurricane Sandy relief programs. The man behind the designs is Chilean born, New York based artist and designer Sebastian Errazuriz.
The shirts were made as a reaction to the hurricane. Unable to work and tired of watching the horrible disaster unfold on the news, Errazuriz decided to design something to help raise much-needed relief funds. The shirt idea occurred to him after seeing the water line marked on the walls of the flooded galleries in New York’s Chelsea art district.
Sebastian Errazuriz’s work has been exhibited alongside the most celebrated architects and designers in over forty international exhibitions. His work has been included in exhibitions and shows at the Copper Hewitt, National Museum of Design in New York, The Helsinki Museum of Contemporary Art, The Vitra Museum in Weil AM Rheim in Germany, The Museum of Art and Design in New York, The Mint Museum, The Corning Museum of Glass and the National Museum of Fine Arts in Santiago, Chile.
