Xmas Want: The Machine Continental Drift Print By Misha Hollenbach
Actually the Continental Drift print isn’t the only one by Misha Hollenbach that we’re drooling over. The Leopard Skin and Spell Bound prints are equally top-notch pieces of contemporary freshness with a tribal twist. Each print is unique in composition and highlights structural aspects of each track created by Matt Edwards and also Joe Claussell’s brilliantly revised version of Edwards’ 2011 album as The Machine. You can pick up the series of prints via LN-CC, but they’ll cost ya—£350.00 to be exact. But you can take pleasure in the fact that they are limited to an edition of five.

In addition to the above prints, there’s a hand painted box set by Misha Hollenbach, which contains The Machine—Redhead, Joe Claussell Interpretations record exclusively on triple LP vinyl, alongside the original version on LP and CD. If you’re not familiar, The Machine is one of the various alter-egos of Matt Edwards, perhaps best known for his work under the Radio Slave moniker. Edwards introduced The Machine as an outlet for his more abstract, experimental interests and Redhead was his first release. For the reinterpretation Joe Claussell, co-founder of the legendary Body and Soul nights in New York, funnels each track through his own unique vision.
BTW, Misha Hollenbach is one half of clothing label and publisher PAM and the driving force behind art/music group, The Changes.
