California brothers Andrew and Daniel Aged are only in their 20s, but they have already notched up impressive credits as studio musicians for the likes of neo-soul crooner Raphael Saadiq and hip-hop pied piper Pharrell. In a gesture toward maturity and otherness, the Terrence McKenna devotees simplified their persona from Teen Inc. to lower-case "inc." Fortunately, this was not just a stylistic move, as they also distilled their sonic vision to a futuristic strain of similarly intimate, intricate micro-R&B that echoes the lushness of 90's Quiet Storm grooves and the slightly breakbeat touch of Timbaland's heyday with Aaliyah. Recorded mostly over the winter of 2011 in relative isolation, no world is an unforgettably corporeal and sensuous experience, despite its disembodied title. The debut drops tomorrow, February 19th on 4AD. That same night, the precocious lotharios play NYC's Le Poisson Rouge, before heading to Europe where their baroque slow jams will surely have psychedelic soul aficionados swooning.
