It was Superbowl Eve when we touched down in the mile high state. The crisp Colorado air whipped around our Ratchet hats as we set out in search of some delicious Denver restaurants before our gig... we landed at Euclid Hall, voted best restaurant in Denver... anywhere with bacon aoli on the menu has got to be good. We generally order every sauce on the menu to accompany our meals... what's life without extra flavor? Besides delicious food and good company, we were back in Denver to play—and that we did. Snowboard Mag appearantly knows how to party and their SIA afterparty is infamous... with past years getting down with the likes of Diplo, Digitalism, Rza, Gza, Redman and Wiz Khalifa... This year we were so jazzed to be included in the line up with Crookers, Craze and Maseo of De La Soul... legendary! Dave "Quiet Riot" Grigsby of Snowboard Mag, the brains behind this whole op and always ever so calm and collected, calls rapper Juvenile a close friend and himself not a promoter but nevertheless... knows exactly what he's doing. After a long few days of tradeshows, these snowboarders wanted to party... Colorado style...and that's hard.
11 pm: We opened up the main stage and the kids got loose.
12 am: We were flying…
2:30 am: Forget taxis, we just jumped in the back of a truck country style and got a ride back to the Four Seasons…
Sneak peak at a Superbowl Snapchat.
Next Day: Superbowl, Vail retreat…nothing better.
Thanks for the Rocky Mountain high Colorado... until next time.
