There's an interesting new reality series hitting your web pages soon, and it's called The GoGo Life, starring your one and only fish-net clad crowd pleasers, the GoGo dancers. Now I know that there exists a general understanding of what represents a GoGo dancer and what they do/represent, but before you superglue that image to your mind, I think you should take a look at this. The show will take audiences inside the heart of electronic dance music (EDM) culture as seen through the eyes of one of the scene's most dynamic characters, the GoGo Dancer. This weekly web series follows MsEasy and her team of GoGo dancers behind-the-scenes of nightclubs, festivals and events. The show will premiere on Monday, February 11 and feature five episodes released on a weekly basis throughout February and March.
The show’s main character, MsEasy, is the most highly-acclaimed GoGo dancer in the world [I had not idea there was even such a thing. -ED], appearing in the nation’s top events and for the world’s top DJs. Each episode follows MsEasy and her girls (ages 19-24) as they compete to be the top GoGo dancer. Watch to see how the girls handle the pressures of the industry. Strict diets, jealous boyfriends, drug addiction, over-protective fathers—all in a highly competitive and exciting atmosphere. Sound interesting to you? Check out the videos below for two sneak peeks, then head on over and check out their website to watch the first episodes on Monday.
