2013 might just be the year of Porter Robinson. After coming off one of the strongest years for an up and coming artist in the scene, New York has been patiently awaiting the return of the über talented Producer/DJ after milestone performances at Ultra, EDC, Electric Zoo and his Poseidon tour with Zedd this past fall.
Porter is set to take the stage at New York’s infamous Roseland Ballroom this Saturday night (2/9). Having recently hosted the final American show of Thomas Gold's Fanfare World Tour, Roseland is ready for the 20-year-old DJ to throw an epic party that few fans will want to miss. Whether it's his ear for mixing together classics and unreleased tracks to build up an audience, or his effortless switching between progressive house, electro, dubstep, trance, moombah, etc. Whatever it is, you can always recognize a Porter Robinson live set when you hear it. Like a composer writing a masterful symphony, Porter Robinson weaves a narrative into his live sets; full of unexpected classics and happy surprises.
For those 18 and under fans out there, don't worry you haven't been forgotten. Porter Robinson is playing a special U18 ONLY show at Pacha NYC before his Roseland Ballroom set on Saturday, February 9.
