I hate plastic shopping bags. I have even more contempt for the people that bag up your grocers and feel the need to double bag everything. And I mean every little thing—toilet paper included. Makes no sense. So… I have a lot of tote bags and here's yet another one I'm drooling over.
Derrick Carter and Luke Solomon are the gents behind the esteemed Classic Music imprint (we charted a recent Classic release in our latest buzz chart which you can listen to here) and they recently teamed up with London's Dalston Superstore for a collaboration tote bag.
Not 100% how you can cop this bag (don't think it's out yet), but there is a party coming up for our London readers at Dalston Superstore, which is also the launch party for Luke Solomon's forthcoming album, Timelines. If I were a betting man (and I am), I'd say you'll be able to score one at the party.
Joining Luke is none other than Swag-man Chris Duckenfield. A DJ of impeccable taste, Duckenfield is a long time Classic co-hort as well as being Sheffield's second biggest export next to rain, and will no doubt provide more than a half decent throw down for Classic's beloved, sweaty basement punters. Completing the line up is Mr. Superstore himself, Dan Beaumont ahead of his debut release for the imprint later in the year.
If that doesn't sound fulfilling enough, Horse Meat Disco and Classic resident Severino will take the reins upstairs alongside the Macho City crew… sounds like an evening filled with assorted disco flavors.
