Review: EP Review: 3rd Prototype “Terror” Noiseporn Records

For you bass fiends, Polish-American trio, 3rd Prototype has released an explosive EP titled "Terror." This EP is nothing short of amazing, combining enormous progressive/big room synths and massive electro drops. To begin the EP, the self-titled track "Terror" is a filthy, ground-shaking bass beast. The heavily detuned synths and risers gives this track a lot of emphases on the huge build that sets up an even bigger drop. To regain your composure from the previous track, "I Don’t Know Why" is a more melodic vocal track with hints of trance, electro and dubstep influences. Back on the bass train, "Hold on Afro" combines a big room synth, similar to that of Swedish style house, and a massive Dutch style drop; this song is out of control! To finish off this colossal EP, the trio throws in "Tribute," a banging big room/electro composition with hints of that dirty Dutch. Overall, an impressive four track EP for those who want to get some new sub shaking tunes. Pick it up now via Beatport.
