Over the past few years, Australian breakbeat producer Omegaman has established himself as a go to remixer for artists and producers worldwide. He has remixed most of the artists on Fort Knox Recordings, and has several releases on All Good Funk Alliance’s Super Hi-Fi imprint.
El O’man Boogaloo is the anthem of hot tropical nights, so hot all you can do is dance and party, so keep the drinks flowing. Omegaman himself creates this Latin Funk vibe with his horn and vocal heavy original version. The first remix is by All Good Funk Alliance who give the song a laid back, 6:00 AM dubbed out Nu-Disco feel, while including their high tech percussion sound. The next remix is by Mo’ Horizons who take it up a notch with a tribal house groove and full use of the horns. Leave it to the master of Latin Funk himself, Skeewiff, to remix the track into a hard hitting, heavy swing dancefloor giant.
El O’man Boogaloo is the full package, a dance party to go. The groove of the original track is found in all three remixes, each track with a different tempo. A very useful toolbox for just about any dancefloor ranging from House and Swing to Nu-Disco, Funk and Breaks. Out now via Fort Knox Recordings.
