Austin, Texas based electronic artist Run DMT aka John Robbins is excited to announce the next chapter of the saga in the form of his self-titled record out July 22nd. Run DMT will be the first release on Robbins' own 4th Wall Records, and is the first album since last year's Union of Opposites. The new record continues with Robbin's quest to forge a new path in electronic music incorporating many elements of Drum 'n' Bass, Hip Hop, Punk and, of course, a healthy dose of bass. From the album opener "Ladies Night" to the first single "Shaman Juice", Run DMT's obsession with pushing the envelope is evident with racing break beats that push the 808s to the limit.
Run DMT has already made quite a name for himself, having gained a cult following after being called up to remix the likes of Major Lazer, The Who and Hundred Waters. His hard work payed off this summer when he was hand selected to play on the first dance music stage on this year's Vans Warped Tour, acting as a de-facto ambassador of bass to the punk-leaning crowd.
