Outlook is one of those festivals that make us west-coasters green with envy. Relaxing all weekend on some of the most beautiful beaches in the word, partying on the Mediterranean ocean on a boat, and raving until the sun comes up to some of the best music in the world? Sign us up!
Set on the pristine coast of Croatia at the end of August, Outlook is the largest bass music and soundsystem Culture festival in Europe. By "bass music" we don't mean the kind of blaring, distorted sounds that have become so popular and commercialized over recent years, but rather top-quality reggae, dub, hip hop, house, drum and bass, techno, garage, and more. Outlook Festival has been running solid for 6 years and has grown quickly because of its dedication to supporting genuine music with a wicked down-to-earth vibe. The lineup for the 4-day festival is huge, but some of the most impressive headliners include: Mos Def, Capleton, Talib Kewli, Jay Electronica, The Pharcyde, Bonobo, Andy C, Rustie, Goldie, LTJ Bukem, and more.
Though it may be out of reach for some of us in California, once you're over on that side of the world tickets to the festival are a reasonable $200. Outlook Festival is definitely one to add to the list of must-see festivals in Europe, and Magnetic is ecstatic to get to experience it first-hand this summer! Stay tuned to this space for more information as the event approaches!
