The homies over at Soletron got a preview of Givenchy's Fall 2013 line and have selected some of the best sweatshirts you'll see this season. From a new take on last year's rottweiler graphic to divine design, these are an inspiration to the standard screen print on a crewneck fare. They cost a grip, but sometimes you gotta pay if you wanna be low-key and still shine.
Here's a few of Soletron's picks. For the complete rundown click here.
As we’re half way through 2013, Givenchy is still one of the hottest High End brands of the year. His clothes are still being endorsed by all of the biggest celebrities. The Fall/Winter 2013 collection is looking like another win for Riccardo Tisci. Of his newest collections, his sweatshirts always standout. Last year his rottweiler sweatshirt was a favorite. These are some of the best Sweatshirts of 2013.
This is my personal favorite from Givenchy this year. With the massive success of the rottweiler design over the last few seasons, Tisci brings this Doberman design for the Fall 2013. This was the first release from Givenchy for their Fall 2013 collection, being that it’s reminiscent of past collection. However, this sweatshirt is a reminder of the rottweiler tee, yet a lot cleaner.
His latest piece, this sweatshirt shows Tisci’s love for Americana. He takes the old American favorite past time and uses it as inspiration for the classic clean sweatshirt. The sleeves and back are baseball inspired all-over print while the front is clean.
This sweatshirt is abstract indeed. He looks at the Madonna as inspiration for this artistic piece. This sweatshirt mimics a brush-stroked canvas painting of the Madonna. With multi-colored front and sleeves, this looks like an expressionist painting.
