deadmau5 has done something pretty unique on his SoundCloud page, uploading the progressions of his track, originally titled "Nowhere Fast". He loaded three versions of the song which gave a look into how his music progresses from ideas into the final product. He brought fans along with him on his twitter page, going from rough to final draft in a few hours late Friday night and into early Saturday morning.
Over the course of the evening, he released what he termed on twitter "not really 6 tracks... It's 3 with 4 works in progress". One the final draft of "Nowhere Fast" he changed the name to "Turbo CartPig Racer". The track, pulling heavy influence from Giorgio Moroder's signature arpeggiator sound, seemed to earn mostly positive reaction from the fans, gaining over 20,000 listens and 1,200 likes in just a few hours. Props to deadmau5 for showing the steps of his production process and bringing his fans along. Check the progression on the SoundCloud streams below.
