I don't know why but Nervo kind of leaves me a little shook. They scare me a little; not in like a monster type of way but in a "we're two party girls from Australia and we should have a bunch of tattoos but don't" manner.
Anyway, they are killing it right now, wrapping up a pretty intense festival season and with plenty of Vegas gigs coming up, these girls are on a nonstop mission in EDM culture. They've got the touch, as proven with their new mix on Sirius FM's BPM station. Wantickets gave it a pretty good run down:
From Steve Aoki to Dada Life to Fatboy Slim’s festival anthem of the summer “Eat Sleep Rave Repeat”, the Aussie girls highlight their selection of electro house hits in this mix. Following a few bass heavy remixes and mash-ups, Nervo premieres their new collaboration with Ivan Gough entitled “Not Taking This No More” featuring Beverley Knight. The new track has a trance element to it that compliments the deeper drums and soulful voice of Beverley Knight. Closing out with a deep house music track by Paul Woolford, Nervo beautifully demonstrates that although they are as sweet as pie, they can deliver a dark and deep mix that really hits the spot.
