Acclaimed producers Steve Bug, K-X-P, T.H. White, Artisan Loyalist and Black Asteroid all put their spin on Obin's lustrous synth-pop journeys. The results range from shimmering loved-up vibes to menacing dance-floor burners.
"I'm very picky with tracks that I remix,” declares Steve Bug, who remixed the title track. "I need to have a strong connection to the original and when I first heard the track I immediately loved it.”
Black Asteroid closes out the EP, also remixing the title track. “I was immediately drawn to ‘The Arsonist’,” he said. “A very haunting track was hard to improve upon and I didn't want to just lay trendy dance beat under it. Ultimately, I took another approach and turned it into a horror show." T.H. White explains a different approach. "The original ‘Enjoy’ has such powerful emotion in its driving synths and glossy percussion, I was moved to playing with the track’s underlying swagger to bring out a funk kissed groover."
