Top 10 Tracks Of The Week in the World Of House Music

Happy Holidays and enjoy some of these great tunes that the world of House Music has to offer us this week.

1. "Deepest" Mickey

Exploited drops a funky little compilation entitled "Jamaican Winter" full of goodies just 2 days before Christmas and last but not least on this compilation is "Deepest" by Mickey. This track is full of emotion and bright summery vibes that will take you straight to BPM, WMC, Ibiza, or wherever your next sunny adventure may be.

2. "Never You Mind" (Original Mix) KANT

Out on Christmas Eve, Tube & Berger's Kittball imprint release yet another high quality groover just two weeks after putting out "Set It Off". Gorgeous minimal chords ring throughout with a minimal funky rhythm that keep the track rolling along.

3. "Forgive Me" Shall Ocin

Barcelona-based Argentinian producer Nicolas Abalos aka Shall Ocin releases a VERY strong ep entitled "Conception EP" on LA based label Culprit. All 4 tracks on this release bring the heat so make sure you check each one of them. Out now exclusively on Beatport.

4. "Let's Keep This A Secret" Gab Rhome

Sasha continues to introduce us to his proteges via his Last Night On Earth label. Gab Rhome is no exception here as demonstrated on the recently released Deuce EP. All three are solid but the lead track "Let's Keep This A Secret" takes you on the journey you came here for.

5. "Armistice" (Original Mix), Dave Azu

Out of Spain, the label Supermarket Unlimited treat us to a relatively unknown artist by the name of Dave Azu. On this EP entitled "Perfect Average", the track called "Armistice" will make you nostalgic for the progressive house circa 2000 from the likes of Sander Kleinenberg or even Sasha & Digweed.

6. "Groove Effect" (Original Mix), Joc H

Out this Saturday, this funky as can be tech-houser has the dirtiest bass-line we've heard in quite some time. Turn this up!

7. "Zenith" (Original Mix), Larry Cadge & Rick Sanders

More tech-house on the menu this week, this time from Larry Cadge & Rick Sanders on Detuned Recordings. An exceptional EP to say the least with plenty of variety between the three tracks and "Zenith" being the pick of the three for us.

8. "The Drums" Richy Ahmed Feat. Kevin Knapp

"The Drums" was successfully crowd tested at Jamie Jones' Paradise @ DC-10 in Ibiza by Richy Ahmed himself before ever being released this month. "The Drums" is sure to move any dance-floor given the level of groove and the assault of "The Drums" commonly associated with Hot Creations.

9. "Bang The Box" (Benny Kane's UKG Mix), Little By Little X Hardrive

Benny Kane out of the UK nicely remixes the 90s classic "Deep Inside" by Hardrive with a nice Garage touch and puts it on Soundcloud free to download. Thanks Benny, we love it!

10. "Holding On" Feat. Vanity Jay (NYC Mix), James Fox

Released early this month, we couldn't let this one slip past us. This low-tempo jam is soulful, melodic, and positive. Marshall Jefferson would be proud.
