Australian music blogs The Music and Stoney Roads are reporting that 140 drug related arrests were made at this year's Field Day Festival, which takes place on New Year's Day.
The multi-genre hip hop, rock, and electronic music event featured performances from A$AP Rocky, Wiz Khalifa, the Wombats, Crystal Fighters, Flume, London Grammar and a multitude of other artists.

In addition to the arrests, 22 attendees were ejected due to intoxication or disorderly conduct. Two young men are also facing more serious charges, being found with 35 ecstasy pills and a substantial sum of cash.
This news follows several large scale arrests at the Melbourne and Sydney Stereosonic festivals in 2013, as well as a death attributed to ecstasy at this past September's Defcon 1 event, which also took place in Sydney.
