Joel Zimmerman, aka deadmau5, started 2014 off just like it was 2013 - with a twitter rant, this time upset at the bottle service booth placement and crowd reaction at his January 1st gig at Mansion Miami-
After a few more tweets and posting a pic of the texting culprits, Zimmerman later went on to his website to say “putting fans in the back and trust fund kids up front is fucking stupid as fuck.” Then he vowed that he “won’t be playing any more Miami clubs.”

He then shifted the conversation, bringing up a possible D.I.Y. party, saying "I’d rather rent a venue / parking lot / beachfront and fuckin’ do it right.”
Zimmerman spoke of a possible "big ass show", over two years in the making, in the fall of this year, or at the latest, spring of 2015.
It's good to see that Joel is fighting for the fans as of late. In December, he used his influence to drive ticket prices down from $100 to $50, after agreeing to do two shows.
And we are all for the D.I.Y. party scene . . . can't wait to see how this turns out!
