THURSDAY MARCH 27
JEREMY SOLE & MICHAEL ANTONIA
THE ACE. DTLA
There’s a new rooftop destination in town and it happens to be the iconic roof of the Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles, originally built as the United Artists Building, it was the tallest building in the city for one year after its completion in 1927.
Tonight enjoy a libation and the Spanish Gothic style of this chic venue while listening to superior sounds at this very special one off event
MICHAEL ANTONIA (aka "The Human Jukebox", music curator for all Ace Hotels)
JEREMY SOLE (KCRW / TheLIFT)
“For one night only, these two heavyweight music nerds join forces on the casually glorious Ace Hotel rooftop for a night of random revelry and high calibre selections, bending or downright transcending genre and scene. Celebrating the timeless and the dated sounds of good music, bar none.”
TIP: RSVP because this intimate shindig will absolutely reach capacity.

For a special Friday edition (normally the happenings occur every Thursday) they welcome some live acts and as always the resident DJ’s will be playing all the jams to make anyone who didn’t attend quite jelly. :)

MORE ABOUT MARQUES...
Marques Wyatt is a messenger of the deepest, most soulful kind of house music. Beneath his relaxed, spiritual and unknowingly suave persona, therein lies a man partially responsible for giving birth to the West Coast house scene and bringing the fresh sounds of New York to Los Angeles beginning in the mid eighties. Carefully pointing out that he has “always had a deep passion for music,” you know that his adoration of house has become its gateway into the lives of thousands of people. Promoting and playing an enormous amount of parties including BBC, Brass, MAC’s Garage, Does Your Mama Know? and currently Deep, over the years, Marques has changed the face of LA nightclubbing and the presentation of its music and sound.

- A U D I O F L Y (SUPERNATURE)
Although widely regarded as a member of the true A-list of dance music, both in terms of production, DJing and label management, it was a chance meeting led to Anthony Middleton and Luca Saporito, an audio engineer/musician and working DJ respectively, becoming Audio fly back in 2002.Now, the duo are pushing their sound even further with a gig diary that takes in the likes of Fabric, Warung, Amnesia and countless other world renowned clubs as well as a forthcoming album in the works but they still finding time to develop other artists via their own Supernature imprint. Only one year old, and Supernature has been a launch pad for artist such as Ali Nasser, Alex Niggeman, Bearweasel, Amelie and Boris Horel and commands the respect of labels ten times its age while their Flying Circus parties have become the highlights of both the WMC and Sonar festivals and their similarly named radio show for Proton Radio is a continued success. All of this sounds a lot, but Luca and Anthony are veritable steam trains of ideas and projects. Luca’s unrivaled enthusiasm, Anthony’s ability to think outside the box and an envious amount of talent to draw on mean there’s a lot more to come from Audiofly and their “Familia”.
