Pasquale Rotella's Insomniac Events has teamed with Interscope/Geffen/A&M Records to form a new EDM record label - Insomniac Records. The news first broke on the Hollywood Reporter this morning. The first release, which also debuted today, is DJ Arty's (Artyom Stolyarov) "Up All Night" featuring Angel Taylor.

Insomniac has been an EDM promoter for more than two decades, beginning in Los Angeles and now producing events on a global level. They are responsible for Electric Daisy Carnival, Beyond Wonderland, Nocturnal Wonderland, Escape From Wonderland, and several other large scale electronic music festivals. On the partnership, Rotella says:
We formed Insomniac Records because we saw the need for a label that fosters the unique talents of dance music artists while also giving them a powerful platform to share their music with fans around the world.
