The Gumball 3000 is a "super car" road race that began in Miami on June 5th, 2014 and is scheduled to end in Ibiza on June 11th. Cars are loaded onto planes at the end of the U.S. course and then flown to Europe. Each night of the race, a piece of pop culture memorabilia is auctioned off, with the proceeds donated to charity. Last night, deadmau5 tweeted that he had outbid David Hasselhoff for the latter's original Baywatch jacket.

No hard feelings between Zimmerman and Hasselhoff though, as the two were photographed in a fierce bromantic embrace immediately after the auction. These photos was taken by Tory Belleci of Mythbusters fame. Belleci is deadmau5 driving partner for the race.

deadmau5 is driving his signature Ferrari, referred to as the Purrari. The sports car has been wrapped with a Nyan Cat graphic. Nyan Cat is a popular YouTube video and Internet Meme.
