Premiere: London Imprint Return With New 'Folding Spaces III' EP

We first came across London-based, burgeoning underground house and techno imprint Folding Spaces when we premiered their 'Folding Spaces II' EP on our YouTube channel, a few months ago. It seems the label is back at it again, today they are releasing their latest EP 'Folding Spaces III'. The EP is a diverse six-tracker that channel analogue driven futuristic cosmic synths and booming drum rhythms, heavy dub and mind-melding dark electro that channel early influences of Dancemania, 80s industrial and the early Detroit rave scene. Each track creates and atmosphere that is quite fitting for dark cinematic aesthetic.

Portugese DJ/producer PeteBlas kicks off the EP with machine-funk scorcher in "Oscillators". Next Roundhouse Kick takes you on a twisted pulsating acid trip in "EPM12". Osti M's "Workout" has a light soulful free-flowing tech driven jam, which carries into Mharia's "Perfect Sense" that is somewhat of a modern day tribute to Detroit techno. Parisian producer Voiron "Itineris" brings a futuristic funk to a spacious techno hitter, which EBM legend Legowelt envelopes into a cosmic stargazing downtempo track.
