In 2013, Disclosure's debut album Settle was a massive hit. Here at Magnetic it was neck and neck with Daft Punk's Random Access Memories as one of our favorite albums, and this year there has been some pretty epic, albeit rumored studio collaborations.
Well, it looks like the brothers Lawrence are really hitting the studio this September to get to work on their new album. The news broke on Annie Mac's Superstar DJ's last night. We are not able to view over here in the US, but our homies over at Mixmag got the scoop:
The UK duo plan to set up a studio in London and reckon the "change of scene" from the suburban studio in which they wrote debut album 'Settle' "will be good".
The brothers revealed their plans during Superstar DJs, the Channel 4 series based on the lives of electronic music superstars hosted by Annie Mac.
When asked about their "time off in September", Guy (the older one) told Annie: "[We're] going to differentiate the sound a little bit from the previous album. We don't want to go a million miles away from where we are."
