CBS news is reporting that there was at least one Mad Decent Block Party death at Friday's event near Washington D.C. A minor is also reported to be in critical condition. In all, there were 20 hospitalizations.
Tyler Fox Viscardi, 20, of Raleigh, N.C., was taken to a local hospital just after 9 p.m. Friday, Howard County Police say. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
His death appears to be drug-related. Officials are determining what type of drugs were in his system.
A 17-year-old boy from Woodbridge, Va., was also taken to a local hospital. He remains in critical condition, officials say.
It does not appear that the two men knew each other, according to police>
The Mad Decent Block Party is a nationwide tour featuring artists from the Mad Decent Record Label.
The Washington D.C. Event was held at the Merriweather Post Pavilion.
