Robin Williams certainly wasn’t a DJ, or even involved in the electronic music realm whatsoever for that matter. However, here at Magnetic we find it vital as a media outlet to commemorate his absolutely legendary life. He brought joy to all of our lives and his bright soul will always be remembered and treasured. When I was a kid I resided in L.A and my Dad was located in Seattle. There were times my little brother and I really missed his presence and Robin’s movies were a bond we shared with our father since he would take us to them on his magical monthly visits. Laughter may have been a remedy for our personal struggles at the time, but now this grief goes out to his family and others who don’t realize the importance of their existence till it’s far too late. Perhaps you may find yourself out and about this weekend celebrating life. Before you hit the town, take a moment to call that friend or family member you haven’t spoken to in a while. You never know what internal battles someone may be facing, and maybe that “someone” needs your love.
Have a safe and sound weekend and rest in power Mr. Robin Williams.
