Pioneer Launches The New DDJ-SX2 Controller Equipped With Integrated Serato Flip Software
Pioneer introduced the newest member of its family earlier this month, the DDJ-SX2. On the surface, it looks like the original SX controller, but inside is where the magic happens. The DDJ-SX2 features an on-board section dedicated to Serato Flip functionality, and a pair of jog wheels that make Technics-1200s jealous. It has improved circuitry, jog wheel, and microphone performance since the original SX. It also comes with multi-colored dynamic pressure pads that respond with hue. Pioneer’s ever advancing technology took a step back by adding scribble-friendly jog-wheels with less latency, better response, a cross fader curve adjust, and 2 sets of beatmapping LEDs. The big seller on the DDJ-SX2 is its integrated Serato Flip functionality, but it still has everything you expect from a Pioneer controller: a 4-channel mixer, professional quality material, needle search, master/channel meters, and one hell of an I/O panel capable of any add-ons/expansions known to man.
Little somethin’ extra: The first 10,000 controllers sold will come with a free Serato Flip and Serato Video expansion pack. Sweet.
