Fewer Noise Complaints And No Real Rise In Arrests At This Year's Beyond Wonderland

Report: Over 100 people arrested at Beyond Wonderland

Just over 100 people were arrested at Beyond Wonderland over the weekend according to The San Jose Mercury News. But the report also states that there were far fewer noise complaints than last year.

"The majority of those arrested during the Beyond Wonderland concert were booked on suspicion of narcotics possession, including ecstasy, cocaine and LSD, according to Mountain View police spokeswoman Shino Tanaka. […] Police say the number of noise complaints they received from surrounding neighborhoods dropped from about 100 in 2013 to 25 this year."

The 100+ arrests were “about the same […] at last year’s Beyond Wonderland event”.

The two-day festival takes place at the Shoreline Amphitheatre & Grounds in Mountain View, California. Over 50,000 attendees were projected to have been there this year according to KTVU San Francisco. As a point of reference, approximately 100 were arrested at HARD Summer last month, a festival of similar attendance and length.
