SFX takes a Big Beat as their company roster has just added Liz Miller, the former general manager of Big Beat Records, as Vice President of Artists and Labels. If you're not familiar, Liz’s professional back story definitely more than qualifies her for the position. She started out in the early years of what we know now as Beatport and moved on to form her own marketing company. Billboard makes note that she worked with "DJs such as Seth Troxler, Guy Gerber and Richie Hawtin. But she was quickly plucked by Atlantic’s CEO Craig Kallman, who asked her to move to New York and help re-launch Big Beat."
Billboard further notes on her career at Atlantic's Big Beat:
..."She oversaw major electronic acts like Chromeo, Icona Pop and Skrillex, whose Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites EP won three Grammy Awards. In March, Rolling Stone named Miller one of the 50 Most Powerful People in EDM. "
Congrats to hardwork paying off, who will be joining SFX in the future? Only they know.
