There are certain scenarios in my near future that have me feelin’ some type of festive way.
Perhaps it’s the news of emerging local designers showcasing their work on haute to trot runway models for our cities ever expanding Fashion Week and the oh soo chic events that it ensues? With an always diverse spectrum of sounds to choose from in this city, the scope is made even wider with fashion friendly festivities adding to the mix.
Happy bday to my bestie Kimi Recor and stay fabulous friends!

SUNDAY OCT 19
WOOLFy & MORE/ OPERATION BACKPACK THE HOMELESS
PATTERN BAR. LOS ANGELES
Another daytime destination with positive intentions.
“It is with the utmost pride and excitement that Lus Music presents a very special engagement. On Sunday October 19th 2014 Lus Music will spotlight the premiere of Los Angeles based H.E.L.P.’s (Helping Empower Local People) Operation: Backpacks for the Homeless. On this wonderful day we will come together to aid the plight of the local Los Angeles homeless population. “Verify Insurance,” has graciously donated to us a total of one hundred and fifty, gender specific, drawstring backpacks, each containing one personal hygiene kit, one fleece blanket and two pair of socks per backpack. We have chosen the perfect venue to house our event and it will allow the "Treats and Beats" bicycle riders the proper geographical position to disperse the backpacks throughout the downtown area, during the actual event. Not only will you be able to witness this philanthropic achievement first hand as it unfolds, you will also be entertained by some of our cities favorite Disc Jockeys.”
PLEASE NOTE: *** 100% of the proceeds from this event will be used for winter-geared backpacks for the homeless and a children’s toy drive event, planned for early December.
DONATIONS: $10 donation is suggested. However, please feel free to donate as much as your heart desires ♥
