Spotlight: Cosby "Heatracer" - A Fusion Of Synth And Brit Pop

“Heartracer,” the first single and video off the forthcoming record by up-and-coming indie synthpop band Cosby. Led by brothers Chris and Chip Cosby, Cosby have gained attention in the Richmond, Virginia region for their blending of 1980s synthpop and Britpop. Fueled by comparisons to The Killers, M83, and Passion Pit, Cosby have already opened for Future Islands and finished as a semi-finalist in last year’s International Songwriting Competition.

“Heartracer” is about "that moment when we finally feel at ease with the realization that we are all, for better or worse, heading in the same direction on this big floating rock in space we call Earth.” It was produced by the three members of Cosby. It was mixed by Stewart Meyers, and mastered by Alan Douches at Westside Mastering Studios.
