When it comes to iconic tours, especially in EDM, the Daft Punk Alive 2007 tour is definitely up there. It was hot off the heels of their groundbreaking Coachella 2006 performance, and the world was definitely primed for some "robot rock".  The performances for the Alive 2007 tour were an expansion of Daft Punk's 2006 live sets, or as we like to say "harder better faster".

So much better, that they even recorded their set at Bercy in Paris in June 2007, and released it as an live album in 2008. But alas there was never a vinyl release, leaving an empty spot in the heart of super fans everywhere, who were left wondering everyday if  Alive 2007 would ever be immortalized on wax...

Well, today it looks like we have some good news, as Daft Punk will release Alive 2007 as a deluxe double-vinyl package on December 22 with a 52-page book. So not only do you get the wax, you also get some extra icy album art/photos as well.
