Just released this week, "Do They Know It's Christmas" 2014 has already become the fastest selling single of the year. The re-make of the 1984 song, now celebrating it's 30th anniversary and raising funds to combat Ebola, includes vocals Bono, Ellie Goulding, Sam Smith, Jessie Ware and Underworld's Karl Hyde.
However, rumors that the Lawrence brothers, aka Disclosure, were to be on remix duties have been dispelled, with a representative from the group telling Pitchfork "No planned remix or involvement of any kind unfortunately".
"Do They Know It's Christmas" 2014, which has already gained over a million YouTube views and raised over a reported $1.5 million dollars, has also been the subject of some controversy, especially surrounding it's portrayal of Africa.
