When was the label founded?
The label really started this year in January and will have had 13 releases by the close.

What is the label’s primary goals and what genres will you stick to?
Our primary goal is to make a family label of producers, we don’t get outside remixers, only artist releasing on the label remix tracks. We are also trying to find new artists that haven’t had a great deal of exposure yet, no entry level required. Style wise we simply say no commercial, trap, electro, trance or anything of a big room nature, we have some techno tracks coming up as well as several Chill Out EP’s, and a couple of garage tracks.

What are some of the upcoming releases on the label?
Our next releases is fantastic set opener / DJ tool from Fernan Dust called the “Dictator”, followed by an old skool progressive track from myself which be released in 2015

MAGNETIC Mag's Guest Podcast series continues with DJ/Producer & Muskox label Boss Alistair Albrecht.

Alistair Albrecht started producing in 2008 with his first release 'What Would We Do' with DJ partner Patrick Hagenaar going straight to No.1 across all major DJ download sites plus supported by the likes of Eric Morillo and Pete Tong. Since then Alistair has gone on to top the house, tech house and techno charts, had three tracks simultaneously in the top 10 house charts, remixed for some of the biggest artists and labels in the world and DJ'd around the globe.

Before producing Alistair was involved in organizing the first ever Desert Parties in the Middle East, earned his UK DJ stripes at the legendary Turnmills, was the chief resident and promotions manager at Pacha London for three years, has held residencies at every major London venue at one time or another, hosted one of the most successful club nights in the UK capital and DJ'd across the globe.

With the success of his first release Alistair has gone onto produce a wealth of chart topping productions such as 'In & Out', 'Won't Let You Down' and 'Love Is the Icon' receiving rave reviews across the industry with DMC Buzz Chart, Cool Cuts and Upfront Club Chart success, features in IDJ, Mixmag and DJ Mag. H&A releases on Dutch heavy weight Spinnin, signed a multi track album deal with USA and UK major Atlantic records & Warner.

Remixed the US and UK No.1 'Ke$ha “We R Who We R'” for Sony, produced multiple remixes for dance leader Ministry of Sound, remixed the Australian No.1 'Wynter Gordon - Dirty Talk'. As well as having solo releases on a wide spectrum of labels such as VeryVeryWrongIndeed, Spinnin, and the Ministry, released the only ever cleared Barry White vocal, gone No.1 in both the house and techno download charts, and even had a one of his own tracks bootlegged by Axwell.

In 2012 Alistair took a break from producing dance music and instead took on the role as Label Manager for Destined Records, the home of Matt Schwartz or also know as the The Drill / Dada and M'Black. Alistair did not stop producing but rather took on roles outside of dance music producing two major retail albums of Jazz Funk and Chill Out, which have gone on to sell over 100 thousand copies. He still found time to release some more underground Beatport chart topping tracks on the mighty Stealth.

This year Alistair is returning to his roots of dance music, with a tone of new releases set for the summer, with the likes of Howard Jones, Nicole Jackson, Arnold Jarvis, Sarah McLeod and Matt Heanes.
